Fall foliage wedding in Colorado Mountains with Aspen views

Taylor and Mariposa Florals did an incredible job on the florals and arrangements for our fall wedding at Black Diamond Lodge. She is a true master of her craft and made everything complement us and the natural colors that surrounded our mountain venue. As a bonus, she crafted a custom boutonniere for me that included a fly I had tied and seasonal flowers - that extra detail delivered the “wow” factor.

We couldn’t recommend a better wedding floral designer than Taylor and Mariposa Florals. If you’re getting married in Southwest Colorado and you want creative, seamless florals that perfectly match your setting and vision, look no further than Mariposa Florals!

We worked with Taylor from Mariposa Florals for our micro wedding in September 2025, and she was absolutely amazing! From our very first coffee meeting, she completely understood our vision. We texted back and forth a few times, and she made everything come together exactly how we imagined, and it was so easy for us(which is the biggest bonus!!) Taylor was so sweet, responsive, and easy to work with the entire time. She truly went above and beyond to bring our floral dreams to life, and we couldn’t recommend her enough!!

Hello! I am Taylor Townsend and I am the owner and designer of Mariposa Florals. My journey with flowers began in 2016 when I got the opportunity to intern for a wedding floral company in Oklahoma. That sparked a whole new love and passion and I have been working in the floral industry ever since!

I have a love for nature and the beautiful creation of flowers. My hope and desire is to create beauty out of what is already there, incorporating organic movement and carefully crafted pieces that fit your personality.

When I’m not playing with flowers you can find me hanging with my husband and son in the Colorado mountains. We moved to Southwest Colorado in 2021 to enjoy the wonderful outdoors and we have done just that. Our favorite thing is to kayak on the mighty Animas River.

I am so glad you are here and would love the opportunity to help create something beautiful for your special event. Please say hi and fill out an inquiry form to get started!
